The Picasso of painted baseballs - George Sosnak - captured the 1926 World Series in all its glory with this colorful, fully decorated ball. It features the logos of both the Yankees and Cardinals, pennants flying atop a cartoon ballpark, linescores from all seven games and a depiction of Rogers Hornsby. Underneath all the colorful writing appears the signature of the legendary second baseman. The work - which is baseball folk art at its finest - is signed by Sosnak and is in NRMT condition overall.
