Sports artist extraordinaire, Leroy Neiman, raises the standard with this over-the-top (of the competition) Shaquille O’Neal portrait, using color to distinguish the NBA post-season master from the players below him - faces lost in the crowd, an arm bent down in defeat - as he rises in his bright yellow Lakers uniform from the athletic mass to dunk a solar basketball. This magnificent and explosive serigraph (158/410) has Shaq’s signature on lower left (with “34” and “MVP 2000” in his writing) and Neiman’s on right, both in pencil. Measures 32x47”, and comes with LOA.
