On offer here is a marquee from one such contraption. It advertises the most famous sporting event of the decade, the second Dempsey-Tunney bout (also known as, "The Long Count Fight"). The maroon/gold/green/white hand-painted marquee (19.5x10.5") reads "Real Movies! Dancing Boxers. 5 cents" and features a real image (7x8") from the bout affixed at the center. Considering its ninety-year plus vintage, the piece is exceptionally good condition with relatively minor wear and ageing.
