Dating from the season of seasons, this gorgeous "Howard" brand pocket watch was presented to the Hall of Fame Murderer's Row outfielder by fans appreciative for such a successful season. Back is deftly engraved with his initials, "E.B.C." But flip open the back for the real prize, as it is inscribed, "From the Boys in the Bleachers, Yankee Stadium, 1927." Manufacturer's stamping inside explains that the watch is crafted from fourteen-karat white gold. Working condition. Acquired from the estate of this Yankee great.
