Led by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, the 1927 "Murderers' Row" Yankees batted .307, slugged .489, scored 975 runs, and outscored their opponents by a record 376 runs. The Yanks capped off this historic season in fitting fashion by sweeping the Pirates in four games. Here we have a NRMT size 10 replica of the championship ring that was awarded to the '27 Bombers. The face features a spoke design enclosed by a wreath and encircled with the inscription "New York Yankees World Champions." Both the left and right panels display an eagle and shield emblem with "New York" written above and "1927" below. This is a later replica.
