1927 New York Yankees World Series Press Pin

1927 New York Yankees World Series Press Pin

Rare pin variation came from an executive in the New York Yankees organization. In Near Mint condition, it commemorates the 1927 New York Yankees, the most heralded lineup in Major League baseball history, dubbed, “Murderer’s Row.” In the shape of a badge (1.5") with ivy design on either side border, the broach is adorned with three banners, enameled red, white & blue with the gold lettering: “Press, World Series, American League.” Below is the year, “1927” in raised gold numbers. At center is the popular crossed bats with baseball raised design. The pin back and clasp is still intact and flawless. Dieges and Clust, New York stamp on the back (“D&C, N.Y.”).
