Original glass plate negative capturing Waite Hoyt, Babe Ruth, Miller Huggins, Bob Meusel, and Bob Shawkey posing together in 1927. This is a well-known image. According to the Getty Images website, it was taken on September 15, 1927, with the original news caption noting that all five Yankees team members pictured here will be participating in their fifth World Series with the club that fall. The negative (5x4") displays a tiny chip in the upper left corner and minor emulsion loss along the bottom border. Accompanied by a small positive photo of the image printed on paper.
