1927 World Series Game 3 Ticket Stub Babe Ruth HR

1927 World Series Game 3 Ticket Stub Babe Ruth HR

Listed here is a ticket stub from Game 3 of the 1927 World Series between the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 1927 Yankees, regarded by many as the greatest team ever, went on to sweep Pittsburgh in four straight to capture the Series. In Game 3 at Yankee Stadium, Herb Pennock was almost picture perfect retiring the first 22 Pirates in a row. Babe Ruth would add a three-run home run in the 7th leading to an 8-1 Yankee victory. The general admission Grandstand unreserved Seat ticket stub displays very well, with bright color and printing. Corners are all excellent shape. The reverse side of the ticket has a loss due to scrapbook removal. Overall, not only is this piece beautiful but rare as well!
