1928 Cuban Boxing Championship Belt
So wonderfully evocative of the proud Cuban boxing tradi-tion of the Roaring Twenties. Marvelous belt was donated for the King's Cup of Boxing (back of buckle has this engraved in Spanish). Front of buckle reads, "Magnetic Sport Club, Champion Featherweight 1928." Great silver accents give a faded beauty to the belt itself, which shows appropriate wear after decades of life in the island nation. Can you imagine the scene when this belt was presented?
