1928 Finest Known Speciment Fro-Joy Ice Cream Uncut Sheet Premium Card with Mailing Envelope
Newly discovered, never found before in high grade NRMT-MT condition, this looks like a different set when compared to previous specimens and includes an uncut sheet of premium cards, a signed photo card of Babe Ruth and the envelope. In 1928, to promote sales, Fro-Joy Ice Cream issued a six-card set, with each of the six cards featuring Babe Ruth. When this premium card was sent by Fro-Joy to kids, the original six cards were not returned. Fro-Joy instead sent an uncut sheet of the complete set of six cards. This is the uncut sheet in NRMT-MT condition, the mailing envelope is addressed to Mr. Normand Farland received from the General Ice Cream Corporation, Schenectady, NY, who made Fro-Joy. Each piece measures 9.5x12.5".
