1928 Notre Dame-Navy Oversized Framed Photo From Soldier's Field
A sea of fedoras surrounds the pageantry of Soldier Field in this impressive photo panorama of the 1928 Notre Dame-Navy game. Just a glimpse of this fabulous 27 x 67" original image (VG-EX) topped by the columned facades of the great stadium makes you want to "cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame." At 32 x 73" in its wood frame, the wood-backed picture is a wall-anchoring piece of history. White imprint at lower right reads: "Navy vs. Notre Dame Soldier Field-Chicago October 13, 1928." The lower left has the copyright stamp Chicago-based Kaufman & Fabry Co. A crowd of 120,000 that day watched Notre Dame beat Navy, 7-0. Don't take after the Middies and get shut out in this deal.
