1928 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Program and Ticket

1928 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Program and Ticket

During the 1928 Series Ruth and Gehrig combined to hit an astonishing seven home runs en route to a four game sweep of their NL foes. While their offensive explosion may have been crushing for Card fans, no enthusiast can deny their showing was one for the ages. Offered is the official Game Three program originally sold on October 7, 1928 at Sportsman's Park. Inside, the scorecard marked in pencil, is twice noted with "HR" along Gehrigs impressive stat line. The cover has maintained its vibrant color and overall the specimen is VG-EX. The accompanying ticket stub from the same day, impressive in it's own right, displays sharp graphics and bold text, EX.
