Large Stan Musial Photograph from Sportsman’s Park and (2) 1967 World Series Signs from Busch Stadium

Surrounded by the field, he called home for twenty-two years, Stan The Man has been frozen in time crouched in his unmistakable stance. A vintage image (20x24") of exceptional quality and beauty.Light paper loss and few tiny pinholes. Matted and framed in Cardinal red, measures 27x31”. EX. Included with (2) wooden signs taken from Busch Stadium during the 1967 Fall Classic. This was the season Stan the Man served as General Manager for St. Louis. The World Series resulted in a game 7 win for the St. Louis Cardinals over the Boston Red Sox. It was the Cards’ second World Championship within one decade. These two identical triangular wooden signs painted red, white & black were taken straight out of Busch Stadium during that World Series. They announce “World Series ‘67” with a circular baseball Cardinals team logo in the center surrounded by the words, “Welcome Visitors”. One shows slightly more damage than the other, with surface scratches and an even, off-white patina. Each has two holes in center from mounting. EX and VG-EX.
