1929-30 Hack Wilson Game Used Bat
This dark-toned beauty did its share of damage in the years 1929-30, when Wilson was defining the National League with league-leading RBI’s, a single-season home run record (56) that lasted for over 60 years, and a single-season RBI record (191) that still rules today, not to mention the pennant he won with his Cubs in ’29. Hillerich and Bradsby has a heavy barrel and skinny handle just the way that Hack liked them. 33.75 inches long and weighs 35 ounces. On the barrel is "Lewis (Hack) Wilson" in script with "Trade Mark" below. An "H" is carved on the knob and what looks like a "J" is on the barrel end. Bat shows heavy use and had a cracked handle and chipped knob which have been professionally repaired. Several nails still on the back of the barrel with some slight dead wood. Nice use on the barrel with spike marks. Graded GU 7 by PSA. Includes LOA.
