1929-30 Notre Dame Football National Champions Felt Banner
The old "Gipper" himself couldn’t be more inspirational than this banner celebrating Notre Dame football. A very rare and desirable piece of Fighting Irish football history, this blue felt banner pays tribute to the 1929 and 1930 National Champs, measures 35x22.5” and has all lettering sewn on. It includes two pieces of leather sewn on to resemble footballs, and they sport facsimile signatures of all team members including Coach Knute Rockne. A gold piece of material at the bottom has the 1929 and 1930 schedules and scores printed in black. Technically in VG condition overall, it has the expected creases from folding and pinholes from display but appears better than that, as it is still remarkably sturdy and suitable for framing or display.
