1929-35 Mule Suttles Type I Photograph PSA

1929-35 Mule Suttles Type I Photograph PSA

One of the few known photos of Hall of Fame Negro League slugger Mule Suttles, and the first we have ever encountered. The member of the Newark Eagles‚ "Million Dollar Outfield" is pictured here in a Chicago American Giants uniform in the middle of his 20-year playing career. The signature is secretarial, but it hardly diminishes the beauty of the rare shot. Suttles - who was known to have murdered Major League pitching - went on to become a highly successful Negro Leagues manager. Comes with PSA LOA.
