1929 "A Farewell to Arms" Inscribed by Ernest Hemingway

1929 "A Farewell to Arms" Inscribed by Ernest Hemingway

Inscribed by the author himself, the Ernest Hemingway signature inside of his classic 1929 novel is one of the nicest we have seen. In fact, it's practically perfect. This original tome, set amidst the backdrop of World War I, was published by Charles Scribner's Sons, who also handled the legendary F. Scott Fitzgerald, Kurt Vonnegut, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, Thomas Wolf and, eventually, Stephen King. Hemingway personalized his signature to William Copp, Esq., though little is known of him. The book jacket has some chipping.
