1929 Franklin D. Roosevelt TLS as Governor of New York

1929 Franklin D. Roosevelt TLS as Governor of New York

New York Governor Franklin Delano Roosevelt, three years before becoming President, wrote to a youngster named Milo Folley (who grew up to be a famous architect). FDR congratulated Folley for his election as Patrol Leader of the Roosevelt Troop of the Boy Scouts and wrote, "I am very glad to enclose my autograph." The signature in black fountain pen is gorgeous and rates 9/10. State of New York letterhead with FDR's name at left. EX with light fold marks and a rime of browning.
