1929 Walter Johnson Single Signed Baseball

1929 Walter Johnson Single Signed Baseball

Historic sphere is marked by the Big Train, "Tampa, Florida, March 1, 1929," placing it at the very beginning of his tenure as manager of the Washington Senators. OAL (Barnard) ball has sweet spot inscription reads, "To Mrs. John S. Helms, Walter Johnson" in 8/10 black ink. Side panel inscription in another hand will not be visible when displayed. A very strong example of this rare single, made even more desirable by its impressive vintage.
