1930's Earl Averill Game Worn Glove
He was the only outfielder selected to the first six All-Star Games, and this glove had a lot to do with that fact. He led all outfielders in put-outs twice in his career, and that heavy action is certainly evident in the wear on this "Wilson" brand button-back glove. There are a couple of minor splits in the aging leather on back, but nothing too bad at all, and the front of the glove displays perfectly. LOA is from Averill himself.
