1930's Max Schmeling One Sheet Swedish Film Poster

1930's Max Schmeling One Sheet Swedish Film Poster

Max Schmeling, September 28, 1905 – February 2, 2005, was a German boxer who was heavyweight champion of the world between 1930 and 1932. His two fights with Joe Louis in the late 1930s transcended boxing and became worldwide social events because of their national associations. Schmeling was a major attraction in Germany and Europe during his reign as champion and particularly following his victory over Joe Louis in 1936. Offered here is a rare 1930’s Swedish film poster which stars Max Schmeling. Schmeling and his co-star are beautifully depicted on this vivid color poster. The poster is in very good condition. It is paper measuring 27 x 41" and has been professionally linen backed. Some minor staining and the original folds are slightly evident.
