1930's St. Louis Cardinals Bat Bag

1930's St. Louis Cardinals Bat Bag

The only one of these we have ever seen. About three feet tall, this bag is brilliantly stenciled in cardinal red "St. Louis Cardinals Base Ball Club 3." [We do not think "3" is a uniform number but the number of bat bags.] The age of the piece is evidenced by the splitting of the words "Base Ball." The body of the bag is canvas with leather bands and intricate silver metal studding. Has all the original and attractive belts and buckles to close the bag. A fantastic piece of stadium memorabilia from the early days of the Cardinals. EX.
