1930's Vintage One Cent Exhibit Card Vending Machine

1930's Vintage One Cent Exhibit Card Vending Machine

This is a great example of a circa 1930's vending machine from the Mutoscope company. The entire unit measures 46 x 17", though the top half is not part of the working machine and instead features 9 additional cards, perhaps advertising cards available in other machines or previously available on this particular one. The machine features the original cards and the ones that were last available on this unit such as Mel Ott, Ted Williams and Hank Greenberg. The Overall condition of the machine is EX with all working parts functioning properly. The wood casing is beautiful and in great shape, even the blue paint surrounding the bottom part of the machine, a classic Mutoscope feature, is in terrific shape with very minimal paint loss or chipping. There does appear to have been some restoration work done, most prominently in the electrical wiring which is definitely newer.
