1930-1956 NFL Ticket Collection (8) w/1930 Frankfort Yellow Jackets
<p>Collection of nine vintage NFL tickets spanning the years 1930 to 1961.<strong style="font-size: 10pt;">1)</strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> 1930 Frankford Yellow Jackets ticket stub. Dated October 18th and issued for a "North Stand" seat. Although the opponent is not listed on the stub, research indicates that the Yellow Jackets were defeated 14-7 by the Brooklyn Dodgers at Frankford Stadium on that date. The Yellow Jackets were members of the NFL from 1924 to 1931 and any souvenirs relating to their brief tenure in the league are rare. This ticket is no exception and is one of a just a few examples we have ever seen. The stub (1.5x1.5") displays a cancellation hole and light creasing. Good to Very Good condition overall. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">2) </strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">1937 New York Giants vs. College All Stars full ticket. Dated September 8th and played at the Polo Grounds. 2.75x2.5". VG, with paper loss on the reverse. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">3) </strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Philadelphia Eagles vs. College All Stars ticket stub. Dated August 24th and played at Temple Stadium. 3.75x2". GD-VG, with creasing and paper loss on the reverse. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">4)</strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> 1940 Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles ticket stub. Dated September 5th and played at Temple Stadium. 4x2". VG, with light creasing. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">5) </strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles ticket stub. Dated October 19th and played at Shibe Park. 4x1.75". GD, with moderate-to-heavy creasing. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">6) </strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Philadelphia Eagles vs. College All Stars ticket stub. Dated August 12th and played at Soldier Field in Chicago. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">7) </strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles ticket stub. Dated September 15th and played at Municipal Stadium. 4x2.25". EX. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">8) </strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">1956 Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles ticket stub.
