Simply marvelous collection: 1) 1930 Pittsburgh vs. USC. The undefeated Panthers versus the Trojans who went on to win 47-14. Ex-Goodwin Goldfadden 1953 stamp on verso. VG. 2-3) Two different versions of the 1933 Pittsburgh vs. USC. Trojans & Panthers meet again both undefeated, Trojans shut them out 35-0. One is the "Pigskin Review" with taped spine. The other is the regular edition with taped spine o/w VG-EX. Ex-Goodwin Goldfadden with 1954 stamp on verso. 4) 1935 Alabama vs. Stanford. Both undefeated and the Crimson Tide beats the Indians. Notable players include Paul "Bear" Bryant, Dixie Howell and Don Hutson. EX. 5) 1936 SMU vs. Stanford. Number written on cover o/w VG-EX. Stanford’s 3rd consecutive Rose Bowl and the first Rose Bowl sell-out. Indians beat the undefeated Mustangs 7-0. 6) 1938 Alabama vs. California. Both teams were undefeated and Vic Bottari led the Golden Bears to 13-0 shutout over the Crimson Tide. 1954 Goldfadden stamp o/w VG-EX. 7) 1939 USC vs. Duke. In a three quarter scoreless game, the Trojans beat the undefeated Blue Devils 7-3. Spine wear o/w EX. 8) 1941 Stanford vs. Nebraska. In the only game these two schools ever played, the Indians bested the Cornhuskers 21-13. Game forever remembered for making the T-formation the future of football. Gorgeous high grade NM. 9) 1947 Illinois vs. UCLA. Undefeated Bruins routed 45-14 by the Fighting Illini. Five records were broken. Sharp EX-MT.
