1930 Babe Didrikson Sterling Silver First Ever All American Girls A.A.U Basketball Award Bracelet

1930 Babe Didrikson Sterling Silver First Ever All American Girls A.A.U Basketball Award Bracelet

An All American AAU basketball award bracelet given to Babe Didrikson when she was 19 years old. The iconic female sports figure was selected as an All-American from 1930-32. The silver commemorative bracelet is marked, "Girls A.A.U, All American - 1930" on front of the plaque and "Babe Didrikson, Forward, E.C.C" on the basketball. The reverse of the plaque is stamped "Sterling" along with manufacturer "Andrews, K.C. MO." The bracelet displays well and is in overall EX condition. There is a 1.5" manufacturing scratch which extends 1/4 MM into the reverse of the piece. This does not affect the presentation or integrity of the piece and can not be seen when viewing from the front of the item. A unique item from the greatest American female athlete.
