1930 Hank Wilson Photograph (PSA Type I)

1930 Hank Wilson Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph capturing Hall of Fame slugger Hack Wilson as a member of the Chicago Cubs. The photo pictures Wilson wearing a pair of dark sunglasses as he happily poses for the cameraman prior to a game. Although no year is listed, the road uniform style shown here was worn by the Cubs only in 1930. A "Field Enterprise" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with clipped newspaper caption which featured this image, numerous handwritten notations, and several later date stamps. The photo (8x10") displays a large chip in the lower right corner, light creasing, and editorial markings on the front. Good condition. Encapsulated as Type I Authentic by PSA.
