1930 Mickey Mouse "Chain Gang" Original Pen & Ink Drawing

1930 Mickey Mouse "Chain Gang" Original Pen & Ink Drawing

Gorgeous pen & ink show an exhausted Mickey coming out of his dressing room in a bathrobe. He just finished one of his earliest films, "Chain Gang" (1930), and is "plenty tired." Signed by Walt Disney, but obviously done by one of the top animators who ghosted his signature, possibly Chain Gang culprit artist Norm Ferguson. Walt Disney did not really draw! Pinholes, otherwise NM. 6 7/8" x 5 3/8". Chain Gang is most significant for its use of bloodhounds as artistic "Pluto" prototypes.
