1930 Rabbit Maranville Day Program, Pin and Ticket

1930 Rabbit Maranville Day Program, Pin and Ticket

Hall of Fame shortstop Rabbit Maranville played his entire, 23-year career in the National League, beginning and ending his arc with the Boston Braves. This 1930 scorecard is an unqualified treasure, with "MARANVILLE DAY - JULY 26 '30" written in pencil at the top of the first page. There is a tear in the bottom left corner but otherwise is in EX condition, including an unused scorecard in the middle. The rain check is also EX while the pin from that celebratory day is NRMT with some fraying to the attached ribbon. The Braves split a doubleheader with St. Louis that afternoon at Braves Field.
