1930 Rogers Hornsby Louisville Slugger 125 Pro Model Bat
While this is a professional model Rogers Hornsby bat that he would use in a game, it was not used by him. This was not a bat that could be bought in a store - it was ordered from Hillerich & Bradsby by a baseball club. The bat is stamped "St. Jos. B.B.A." and was used by a player in that league. It has side writing on the barrel from 1930, but we can't quite make out what it says. The bat, which weighs 34 oz. and is 35" long, shows nice use - it has a cracked handle with some nails in it and is from 1930.
