1930 St. Louis Cardinals Press Pin

1930 St. Louis Cardinals Press Pin

The 1930 St. Louis Cardinals hold the distinction of being the only major league team that could boast a .300 batting average for every player who compiled a minimum of 300 at-bats. Those formidable bats led the Redbirds to their third National League pennant that fall before the Philadelphia A's defeated them in a six-game World Series. This was the pin handed out to the press for that Fall Classic. The front is NRMT, though the back has some tarnishing, There is a threaded post also on the back.
