1930's-50's Notre Dame Fighting Irish Collection with Team Signed Program and Tickets (70+ Pieces)
"Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame"....and "Shake down the thunder from the sky" with this great collection from former Notre Dame student Fred Naegele. 1) 1939 Notre Dame team signed 9/30/39 program by 44 members including: Layden, Captain John F. Kelly, Sitko, Harvey, McIntyre, Gallagher, Kerr and more. Signed by every single player on their portrait inside the program. Almost all personalized to Fred. 2) 1934-55 Notre Dame football programs (30+): Navy (10), Army (3), USC (4, one signed by Don Ameche) and 1939 GT signed by Buck Murphy and Capt. John Kelly. Some programs have Fred's name on cover. Overall EX condition. 3) Ticket stubs (20+): 1934-54 with Navy (8), USC (3), Purdue (3) and more. 4) Ten Student Manager passes from 1939-40 seasons, each with "Naegele" handwritten. 5) 1946-47 and 1947-48 student athletic ticket booklets belonging to Naegele. 6) 1935 football schedule, 1939 football schedule, various ND football related newspapers and a few Traco Transparencies. What a better way to enjoy a passage back to Notre Dame's great football history and "Wake up the echoes cheering her name."
