1930s-60s Basketball Program Collection w/Important Games (125+)
An absolutely massive collection (125+) of programs from the early days of the BAA, NBA, ABA and college basketball. The earliest program is from a game between Notre Dame and NYU on February 13, 1937. The set includes inaugural BAA, NBA and ABA seasons, and is mostly comprised of programs from the 1940s-50s, with some '60s. The breakdown of the collection is as follows: BAA (17): 1946 Inaugural season to 1949. 1947 BAA Championship, 11/14/46 Syracuse Nationals first ever game program, Celtics, Stags, Warriors, Steamrollers, Falcons, Royals and Huskies. NBA (11): 1949 Inaugural season to '60s, Waterloo Hawks first ever game (11/2), first season programs from the Nationals, Redskins, Capitals and Bombers, 1958 Celtics Playoffs and 1965 Celtics Playoffs signed by Havlicek, Nelson, and Cowens. ABA All-Star Programs (8): 1968-1975 (except 1970), including 1st ever (1968). ABA Playoffs (14): 1971-75 ABA Playoffs with Nets (Erving), Colonels, Pacers, Squires and Spurs. NY Nets (12): 1968-76 with First Ever ABA Game October 25, 1968, vs. Colonels. NCAA (67): 1940s-50s with some '60s, NIT Tournament (18), ECAC Holiday Festival (9). Includes stars in college like Jerry West, George Mikan, Dick McGuire, Dolph Schayes. There are a few more miscellaneous ABA game programs too, and the set is overall EX-MT with a lot of NM from the '40s and '50s.
