Stunning imagery hearkens back to the dead ball era although they are updated perhaps "Manga" style characters with a dash of Menko. The graphics are magnificent with geometric patterns influenced by stadium construction of the 1930s. Fine embroidery. From the Nippon Baseball Kimono Collection, an important archive of baseball and other sports-themed kimonos recently discovered in Japan and exported to the United States. Compiled over many decades they are the finest we have seen.
