1930s "Bobby Jones" Lake Merced Open Golf Championship Poster
Magnificent artwork adorns this 14x22" poster, graphically influenced by the great California artwork of the period. Stunning likeness of Bobby Jones swinging in plus-fours in state-of-the-art silkscreen. The 4th Annual was played at Lake Merced on the course designed by the titular Dr. Alister MacKenzie. Small chip at the bottom left and a few small pinholes near the top center, otherwise in EX condition. Heavy cardboard version is the first we've seen.
