1930s Boston Red Sox Bisque Doll

1930s Boston Red Sox Bisque Doll

This Boston Red Sox bisque doll dates to the 1930s and is the first we have ever seen! The doll's head, hands and feet are made of bisque porcelain, while its cloth body is stuffed. A few patches of paint have chipped off, mostly near the doll's brown hairline. The painted-on facial features, red-and-white striped socks, and brown shoes are all still quite vivid. Reading "BOSTON RED SOX" in red on the front and featuring a red number "5" on the back, this doll is truly a relic from a different time.
