1930s Dallas Times Herald Newspaper Rack Metal Sign

1930s Dallas Times Herald Newspaper Rack Metal Sign

Using sports to sell newspapers, this point-of-purchase metal sign sat atop the rack promoting the Dallas Times Herald, with the brilliant orange color intended to catch the purveyor's eye while browsing in the store. Measures 6.5x17" with baseball player and football player in the corners. From the golden age of newspaper sportswriting circa 1930s, there is very little paint loss or wear, and the condition rates as VG+.
