1930s Frank Frisch Advertisement Poster

1930s Frank Frisch Advertisement Poster

Hall of Fame second baseman Frankie Frisch's talents were clearly not limited to the diamond as this advertisement promotes a column penned by "The Flushing Flash" for the Sunday St. Louis Globe-Democrat, either in 1937 or 1938. The cardboard ad measures 10.5" x 16" and shows yellowing and scuff marks/small holes but has otherwise held up very well. Frisch's piece was entitled "How Ballplayers Are Picked for the Major Leagues."
