1930s Gold Red Grange Football Sign
Die-cut, easel-backed cardboard advertising sign is for Old Gold cigarettes from the 1930s. Young player resembles football star Red Grange. Sign has brilliant color graphics, and measures a very large 38 x 50". Advertising reads "Scored with Natural Goodness... Not a Cough in a Carload". Signed by artist Ray Morgan, this is simply a beauty of a sign and pure Americana. Condition is VG-EX; the sign is in great condition except for some wear along the bottom.
