1930s Mel Ott National League Service Bureau Photo (PSA Type I)

Circa 1930s Type I photograph depicts New York Giants slugger Mel Ott. Measuring 8x10", the image shows Ott in a posed - and somewhat awkward-looking - follow through of his swing while staring at the camera. Verso has editors markings, stamp from "The National Baseball League Service Bureau," date stamp of May 11, 1945, and a large red stamp reading DECEASED. Photo has some waviness near the edges, bottom right corner has been cut at the border. Ott played all of his 22 seasons with the Giants, earning 12 All Star accolades. Encapsulated by PSA as TYPE I Authentic.
