1930s Mickey Mouse Professional "Talking" Mask

1930s Mickey Mouse Professional "Talking" Mask

Professional quality, Mickey Mouse mask head was the star of a theater in Brussels for decades. Best of all the person inside can talk through it and the masks mouth can move! It was created in the early 1930s when the Mickey Mouse clubs began forming in Europe and in the U.S. as well. This was made to have an real person in the mask and talk to the kids through it using Mickey's cartoon voice. The earliest Mickey films were as good as Chaplin but not as restricted and the kids came in droves. Can you imagine a talking human sized Mickey talking to them at the special Saturday afternoon showings? There is heavy wear from years of use use but is still holding up nicely. 12.5 tall, 17" wide (ear to ear) and 13" long (back of head to nose).
