1930s Philadelphia Eagles Municipal Stadium Sign
We don't know how the Eagles got away with it but Bert Bell played tough when he owned the club. This sign, posted in Municipal Stadium during the '30s when the team played there, relates that "The management reserves the right to designate a new date for playing the game in case of postponement. No refund will be made." Sturdy 8 x 8" cardboard, black lettering above blue lines against a gray backdrop. Has foxing but it is still significant as a relic.
