1930s Sportsman's Park "Special Police" Badge

1930s Sportsman's Park "Special Police" Badge

This is a special police badge from 1930s Sportsman's Park, and looks like a typical sheriff's six-point badge. Sportsman's Park was the home field of both the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Browns before they became the modern-day Baltimore Orioles. Reminiscent of that lawless 1930s period, in which the bad guys were good and the good guys were bad. This vintage police badge is a shiny artifact worth securing. Worn by officers who worked at the stadium known as "specials," this badge displays the words "SPECIAL POLICE" "SPORTSMAN'S PARK" and "20". Measures 2.5x2.5", and is in EX-MT condition.
