Purchased from the son of this top fighter, this knockout lot includes: 1) Two beautiful fight-worn gloves both inscribed "WES RAMEY DEFEATED FORMER FEATHER BENNY BASS JUNIOR LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD MARCH 9, 1932 AR ST. LOUIS MO." 2) Everlast pair inscribed by Gloves, used by Wesley Ramey in winning state championship from Lou Saunder K.O. 8 Rds. Both pairs show fantastic use and great overall look. 3) Fight-worn trunks Everlast embroidered. 4) Many boxing wire photos with Ramey's handwritten notes. 5) Ephemera with four 1941 farewell fight programs, 3 scarce. Postcards, small cardboard sign, and four Fromans-Druggist neat advertising signs. 6) Nat Fleischer 1930s ring letter making him an Australian Fighter rep. 7) Piece of original charcoal art by Jack Glazer. 8) Two Carl Daniels fight robes, one black and gold "St. Louis" robe and a black and silver hoodie robe. Plus, "Team of Champions" A.B. Stars Jacket, both from Wes Ramey, Jr. and 9) 1934 Ramey v. Jimmy Kelso lightweight champ of Australia at Rushcutters bay stadium, trimmed.
