1931 George Pipgras NY Yankees Contract (PSA)
A solid contributor to the 1927 New York Yankees, a team many consider to be one of the best of all time, George Pipgras lacked the stature of his more renowned teammates, but nonetheless he served the Yankees with distinction for the better part of a decade. This contract comes from The Danish Viking's 1931 season with the club, when according to the document, he was due to make $12,000 (not a bad sum for that era). It has been signed by Pipgras and Ernest Barnard, and presents itself in a neat, stately manner. Ruppert signature is secretarial. Includes PSA LOA.
