1931 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Championship Ring

1931 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Championship Ring

The 1931 St. Louis Cardinals ended Philadelphia's reign as back-to-back champs, defeating the A's in a seven-game World Series. This 14k white gold ring is of the same type given to players and coaches from that championship squad, with this specimen engraved to "Clarence F. Lloyd," the team's traveling secretary that season. Measuring size 10 and weighing 19.9 grams, it is highlighted by a genuine diamond on a ruby stone with the bezel reading, "St. Louis Cardinals World Champions 1931." Each shank has two cardinals sitting on a bat with shield-shaped flag, and was made by G.J Company with "G.J. CO" stamp and obscured 14k next to that stamp. The Redbirds won 101 games to capture the NL Pennant, and their World Series victory also was the last Fall Classic appearance for legendary A's Manager Connie Mack.
