1932 Muddy Ruel Game Worn Detroit Tigers Uniform
Muddy Ruel was one of the top defensive catchers. He is famous for scoring the winning run for the Washington Senators in Game 7 of the 1924 World Series. A World Series champion, Ruel was one of the only ML players, especially during that time, to have a law degree. This wonderful home uniform is all-original. The jersey has a Spalding tag in the collar, with "Ruel 4 32" stitched into the back of the tail. The heavy flannel jersey shows some staining 5" under the "D" in "Detroit". The Spalding pants come with the original belt. They have "Ruel 4 32" stitched into the inside of the button fly pants. There is a small right angle-shaped repair at the bottom of the right leg. Fine use.
