1933 Four Horsemen Notre Dame signed banquet program, this item is authenticated and encapsulated by PSA. The program is signed by Jim Corwley, Elmer Layden, Don Miller and Harry Stuhldreher and (2) others. During the tenure of the Four Horsemen, they lost only two games, both of which to Nebraska on the road. They are considered the greatest college backfield to have ever taken the field together. It was Grantland Rice, writer for the New York Herald Tribune that provided the infamous nickname for this elite group of athletes. Their dominance as a group provided the background for their legendary story and immortality in college football history.The following items are from a private collection of a long-time Notre Dame football fanatic. The quality of this collection is the finest that we have seen.It has taken a half century to procure these items and now is the first time that some of them have seen the light of day.
