1933 Goudey #149 Babe Ruth SGC GD 2
<p>1933 Goudey Baseball #149 Babe Ruth. Graded GD 2 by SGC. This is one of four Ruth cards in the 1933 Goudey set, all of which are hobby classics. The offered card, which pictures Ruth in his follow-through swing, shares the same image with card #53, but with a red background instead of yellow. The card is slightly off center left to right, with four rounded corners. The edges remain fairly smooth and the reverse is clean and white. It's grade designation is mainly predicated upon a few moderate creases that are visible from both the front and reverse. Despite their presence, this remains a very pleasing example of one of Ruth's most popular cards.</p><p> </p>
