1933 Oscar Roettger Montreal Royals MVP Trophy
This metallic cup trophy with silver coating was awarded to Oscar Roettger after being selected MVP of the Montreal Royals of the International League. It measures almost 7" in diameter across the base, and 16.5" in height. The trophy is engraved with, "Mappin Trophy, Montreal Baseball Club for The Most Valuable Player, 1933, Won By O. Roettger". This came from the Roettger estate. Condition is EX.
